This tasty kale salad is very healthy as it boosts the thyroid function. Kale is rich in vitamin A which is known to be very important for thyroid health. You can also add other healthy ingredients and improve the thyroid function naturally.
Kale Energy Salad for Thyroid
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoon honey
- 1 bunch of chopped kale
- 1 avocado, cut into cubes
- 1 teaspoon celtic sea salt
- 1 1/2 lemon juice
- 1/2-1 tablespoon kelp flakes
- 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
- 1/4 cup peeled carrot
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Blend the honey, olive oil, lemon, tahini and salt.
- Pour the tahini dressing over kale, kelp flakes and carrots. Wait for at least an hour. Then add the sunflower seeds, raisins and avocado.
Note:
The salad can be kept in the fridge overnight. The kale will become softer and break down due to the lemon juice.
