100 Uses and Benefits of Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is used in food, cosmetics, to improve health, and many other everyday uses. Read below all the benefits of this product.

  1. Eat a spoonful when you need higher levels of energy.
  2. It is used as part of recipes for body peeling treatment.

  4. Use it as a hair conditioner (apply it on dry hair, leave it as much as possible and then wash your hair with shampoo).
  5. Use it for styling dry hair. Take some coconut oil, spread it on your palms and style your hair in the desired way.
  6. Use it as a lip moisturizer. Put some of it in a small box and always carry it in your purse.
  7. Coconut fat is good for animals too. Add one tablespoon in your pet’s food.
  8. Replace the unhealthy oil with coconut oil when cooking and baking.
  9. Coconut oil can be excellent and healthy ice cream topping.
  10. Place a small amount on your armpits and use it as a natural deodorant.
  11. Use it as a substitute for shaving cream.
  12. Pour some coconut oil in a filled tub and use it as a means of maintaining skin moisture (add a few drops of peppermint oil too).

  88. For women who are expecting, it is recommended to moist the perineum starting from 7th or 8th month of pregnancy.

  90. Coconut oil may be used to clean the inside of your dog’s ears.
  91. There are cases of treatment of eye stye using coconut oil.

  99. Some benefited in their ulcer treatment, as coconut oil fights the bacterium Helicobacter pylori.
  100. Use it instead of soybean oil for frying.
