Another method for treating sunburns is filling the bathtub with lukewarm water and putting a cup of Epsom salt in it. Add a few drops of lavender essential oil. When the crystals are dissolved, lay in the mixture for 20 minutes.

Epsom salt is very helpful against lawn pests and insects. It’s toxic-free, so you can spray the lawn without damaging the grass. Dried Epsom salt ejects slugs and snails.

  1. Fertilizer

By putting Epsom salt in the soil around the roses during the blooming season, you will give them the much needed food in that period. They will have long-lasting flowers. You can use it for tomatoes, peppers, corn and palm trees.

  1. Body scrub

Rub some Epsom salt on your skin after shower. In that way you will remove dead skin and soften your skin. Use circular movements.

Make a mixture from one cup of warm water and ¼ cup of Epsom salt. After it is cooled in the fridge apply it with cotton pad to ease the pain and itching.

All you need to do is to add 1-2 teaspoons of Epsom salt to a cup of warm water and consume it on empty stomach. Do this once a day.

Keep in mind to consult your doctor before using this remedy because it can cause some side effects like vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and gastrointestinal irritation. Never use it more than a week because macerating in Epsom salt reduces water withholding and inflating.

  1. Treat cold and flu

You will recover much faster from the flu, using hot bath with Epsom salt. This will help in fighting against infections too.

  1. Sleep better

Use a bath with Epsom salt an hour before sleeping, will provide you a better sleep. It will relax your body and make you feel better.

In this way you will maintain the level of magnesium, an you will have no problems with fatigue, stress, joint pain and heart disease. Add a cup of baking soda and a cup of Epsom salt in your bathtub and enjoy.

Eliminate the comfortless odor, pain and heavy legs feeling with the help of Epsom salt. Drown your feet in warm water with Epsom salt added in. Keep them in for 20 minutes to improve your blood circulation, diminish inflammation and soften your feet skin.
