4 Types of Infections Which Can Infect the Skin Under the Breasts!

February 8, 2019 by Valerie Kirwin

You probably cannot always notice the changes which occur on the skin under the breasts, at least not until the problem becomes serious. Although you don’t want to worry about something which is not in a visible place, but if you want to remove it from your thoughts, it is worth taking a mirror and check – especially if you have large breasts.

4 Types of Infections Which Can Infect the Skin Under the Breasts!

  1. Rash and fungal infections

Why do they appear: very common rash under the breasts, especially when the weather is hot and humid. Rubbing and sweating in this region of the body damage the top layer of skin, and thus appear fungal infections. Sweating and fungi that are “trapped” under the breasts, lead to rash.

How to get rid: Sprinkle baby powder on the affected skin before going to work in the morning and, if necessary, during the day, because it will help with the absorption of moisture and will keep the skin dry. It is also necessary to see your dermatologist who will prescribe a special cream for defeating this infection.

  1. Irritation due to warmth

Why does it appear: You may blame the warm weather for which you sweat more than usual and which has caused irritation accompanied by itching. This happens due to blockage of the sweat ducts, resulting in redness and spots that cause itching.

How to get rid: The most effective treatment is to avoid places where it is too hot. You can also try applying calamine lotion or powder to soothe the skin.

  1. Growths in form of warts

Why do they appear: This is another common type of skin irritation known as seborrhoeic keratosis. These are benign growths that look like warts which sometimes can cause itching and irritation.

How to get rid: These growths are not dangerous, so they do not require difficult treatments. But if they bother you, because they rub against the skin and they cause strange feeling, you can consult a dermatologist for treatment with liquid nitrogen, laser treatment or surgery.

  1. Warts

Why do they appear: Often appear in women especially in this area of the body due to rubbing of the bra and skin or skin with skin.

How to get rid: Warts can be removed surgically, or simply by cutting them.
