8 Cancer Fighting Foods That You Have In Your Kitchen

Over a hundred different types of cancer have been discovered so far. However, many do not know that this disease can be avoided by eating some healthy foods. Healthy foods such as green vegetables and fruits that have medicinal properties, not only help our bodies stay healthy and strong, but also make us immune to the deadly disease.

We bring you eight healthy foods that you should include in your diet to fight this deadly disease.

Eight Cancer Fighting Foods

1. Tea

Tea is known for its health benefits. Tea is rich in antioxidants and contains elements that fight cancer. Green tea has the ability to prevent cancer of pancreas, breast and skin cancer.

2. Tomato

Tomatoes are a rich source of vitamin C, which helps to avoid cell damage. Tomatoes contain the antioxidant (lycopene), which plays an important role in the fight against cancer.

3. Turmeric

Turmeric is widely used in the world and is known for its healing properties. It is especially efficient in the fight against colon cancer.

4. Vegetables

Vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage contain antioxidants that fight cancer.

5. Spinach

Spinach is known for its content of carotenoids, which are extremely useful for overall body health.

6. Garlic

Garlic has been used as a weapon against cancer. This vegetable is a powerful antioxidant that not only helps in the destruction of tumor cells, but also protects against the components that cause cancer.

7. Citrus fruits

Citrus fruits contain fiber, vitamins and minerals and therefore reduce the risk of cancer.

8. Mushrooms

Mushrooms strengthen the immune system and thus help prevent cancer. These foods inhibit the growth of malignant tumors, thus reducing the risk of cancer.
