Ever since ancient times, people are familiar with the fact that the sea has a positive effect on health. Greek scientist Hippocrates, whose oath doctors still give in the beginning of their career, treated many of his patients with water rich in minerals. Modern science has confirmed his findings, and we bring four medical reasons why you should immediately go to the beach and throw yourself into the sea.

1. Strengthens the immune system

Sea water is full of vitamins, salts, amino acids and microorganisms that act as natural antibiotics, and help your body to fight harmful bacteria. With breathing the sea air negatively charged ions will enter your body, which are also important for the defense of the organism. Also, swimming will spread the pores of the skin, which will speed up the toxin discharge.

2. Increases circulation

Swimming greatly contributes to the quality of the circulatory system, and the warmer seawater may well replace minerals lost by stress, poor diet and outdoor pollution.

3. Balances the body

When swimming in the sea, your body starts to heal itself, reducing the symptoms of the diseases such as asthma, arthritis, bronchitis and inflammation. Water rich in magnesium relaxes the muscles and has a positive effect on the quality of sleep, which contributes to the mental stability and a good mood.

4. Heals skin

The above-mentioned magnesium in seawater helps hydration and appearance of your skin. It is also effective in reducing the redness and rough places, but the people who suffer from dermatological problems are advised to spend a long time in the sea.
