Boost Your Internet Connection Speed 3 Times With This Simple Trick

February 8, 2019 by Valerie Kirwin

It’s almost unbelievable how much our lives depend on the internet. Can you imagine spending a day without Facebook or Twitter? No matter whether we are working or enjoying our leisure time, we simply have to stay connected. But if your internet connection is slow and weak, you just end up with a lot of frustration. Having a good internet connection is very important taken that you have at least a couple of high-tech devices at home that require fast internet.

In most case, a simple reset can considerably increase your Internet speed. What you do is turn your router on and off to see if it works. Don’t forget to recap on your login information as your computer may require a password after the reset. However, this doesn’t always help.

BOOST YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION SPEED BY 3 TIMES WITH THIS SIMPLE TRICK

If you’re still having issues with your internet speed, there’s another more effective way to deal with it. First, know that the worst place for a router is next to metal objects, refrigerators or microwaves. The thing is these objects slow down and weaken the signal. On the other hand, a good place to set the router or the modem is close to your laptop, cell phone or computer.

What’s also important is placing the modem a bit higher – 2-3 meters high, for example. Make sure it’s clean and doesn’t have too much dust inside. You may not know, but the dust could slow down the connection. You should clean it at least 2 times a week. Another important thing is to keep your modem or router away from a crowded living space. If your living room is filled with people, your internet connection can slow down because according to experts, Wi-Fi networks are much slower in places with plenty of water – and taken that the human body is over 60% water, it can affect the signal.

Last, but not least, make sure that the micro filters are new, because old ones can cause signal problems. Ideally, you should replace these at least twice a year.
