Did you know that you can decrease the cholesterol level, by eating avocado on a daily basis?
Pennsylvania State University conducted a research, in which 45 fat people participated at age between 21 and 70. They were divided in 3 groups. Each group had with different cholesterol decreasing diet.
The first one was low – fat diet, the second one was moderate – fat diet and the third one was with avocado. All 3 diets were very different.
Even though, all 3 diets turned out to give good cholesterol results, but the avocado – based diet gave the best results.
The avocado – diet lowered cholesterol by 13.5 milligrams per deciliter, the diet with moderate fat lowered cholesterol by 8.3 milligrams per deciliter and the low – fat diet resulted in a decline of 7.4 milligrams per deciliter.
