Here’s How to Remove an Ingrown Toenail Without Surgery

February 8, 2019 by Valerie Kirwin

Many things can appear on the human body that can cause serious health problems. Ingrown nail is one of them. This condition is considered to be a chronic disease and it appears when the corner or side of a toenail grows into the soft flesh. Ingrown nail causes severe pain especially when you walk, but there are many methods for removing it. If you do not want to spend money on surgery, remove it at home.

Here's How to Remove an Ingrown Toenail Without Surgery

Dilute three tablespoons of baking soda in 2 liters of water, and heat the mixture. When the water warms up, soak your foot with ingrown toenail to soften the skin around it. Then place a swab between the skin and ingrown toenail and try to remove it slowly with tweezers. Do not forget to soak the swab in antibacterial liquid.

Since you will not succeed in removing the whole nail at once, repeat the procedure every 15 days, until you remove all parts of the ingrown toenail.
