Ginger tea is actually one of the healthiest brews you can treat yourself to first thing in the morning. It provides a wide array of health benefits including:

Ginger contains two active substances – gingerol and shogaol, both of which provide strong antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties.

GINGER TEA RECIPE

What you need:

  • 1 cup water
  • 4-6 slices of raw ginger
  • some organic honey
  • a ceramic pan

Directions:

Start by bringing the water to a boil. Make sure you’re using a ceramic pan. Add the ginger slices then reduce the heat. Simmer for about 15 minutes then remove from heat. When the brew cools, strain and add honey to taste.
