Most of you already know a lot about the beneficial properties of tomatoes, but not everyone knows that you can cure varicose veins with the help of tomatoes.
There are two ways of treating varicose veins using red ripe and green tomatoes.
The treatment of varicose veins with green tomatoes
Green tomato is a very simple home remedy to fight with varicose veins.
All you need to do is to wash a few green tomatoes and cut them into circle slices (or rings). Then on the nodes of varicose veins and the vein capillary network place the slices of green tomatoes. If necessary, fixate them with some bandage. Keep tomatoes at these locations until you feel a tingling sensation on the skin. If you cannot stand the feeling, remove the tomatoes as soon as you feel a burning sensation, and wash the veins with cold water. The result will be visible very soon, if this procedure goes well. This procedure should be repeated 5 times a day, continuously.
After 2 weeks the venous nodes will start to fade, from the implementation of these everyday procedures. The swelling, capillary network, pain and nodes in the veins will eventually disappear.
On the other side, matured red tomato can also help in the treatment of the varicose veins.
The treatment of varicose veins with ripe red tomatoes
The procedure is almost the same as the one with the green tomatoes. Wash few ripe tomatoes, cut them into thin slices and put them on the painful veins for 3-4 hours and fixate it with some bandage. Wait for some time and replace the tomato with a new one. This procedure is preferable to be conducted in the evening or at night.
The duration of the treatment is individual. This treatment can be conducted during the whole summer and in combination with green tomatoes.
Tomato has healing properties because in it there is a substance that is in its properties similar to aspirin. This acid is considered to be an anticoagulant, which dilutes the blood and does not give it stagnation. Plus, the tomato has flavanoids that strengthen the blood vessel walls.
