Find confidence in yourself by putting these tips into practice
Today, from ictiva, we want to emphasize a short phrase full of meaning and, many times, difficult to carry out: Accept my body.
We know that in many of the purposes for this 2015 the phrase ‘accept my body’ has fallen along with many others. Today we will give you some tips to be able to carry it out.
#Tip 1 to accept my body: Accepting is not the same as resigning.
Whenever we talk about accepting our body, at no time do we refer or claim to ‘resign ourselves to our body’. Accepting our body means becoming aware of what we are and what we have physically. Resign thereto it means knowing that there is something in us that we don’t like and still living with it without accepting it. It is very important to take a critical (but constructive) look at ourselves, to observe what we like and what we don’t like about our body.
# Tip 2 to accept my body: Enhance and modify
Once we accept our body, we can enhance those physical features that are most favorable to us and try to modify or hide those that we do not like so much. If it is sagging, cellulite, or areas of accumulation of body fat, we can modify them, doing exercise routines that favor the disappearance or muscle building of these areas in order to please ourselves.
# Tip 3 to accept my body: You are always right.
‘I’m hot and people laugh’ they say, and we shouldn’t change because others tell us to. You are the owner of your body and also its sculptor. If you don’t like something about your body, change it. But only if you are the dissatisfied one. This advice will not only help us raise our self-esteem, but it will also give us a plus of willpower when it comes to doing exercise routines. There is no force greater than self-conviction for change.
