Spinach and Celery Juice 


  •  1 green apple
  • 2 celery stalks with leaves
  • 3 Handfuls of spinach
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cucumber (optional)


First wash and peel the green apple and carrot and remove the seeds from the apple. Juice the green apple and carrot together with celery and spinach.

Note: Lemon and carrots contain high amount of potassium which can help to counter balance the high sodium levels associated with hypertension and high blood pressure. Carrot is excellent for helping eye problems and is a good blood regulator in diabetics. Spinach contains beta carotene, vitamins A and C, calcium, which provide multiple health benefits. Celery is rich in magnesium and potassium which are again so essential in the treatment and prevention of high blood pressure. Celery contains minerals and sodium that help to regulate blood pressure. Green apples help in bringing down your sugar level with the help of mallic acid.

Brussel Sprouts and String Bean Juice


  • 1 peeled lemon
  • 10 – 12 Brussels sprouts
  • 2 cup string beans
  • 1 cucumber (optional)


Squeeze the juice from the Brussels sprouts, then, the string beans, and then the lemon.
When they are completely blended, stir them thoroughly.

Note: The beans and the Brussels sprouts are a great source of insulin and supply you with energy and key minerals through the creation of vitamin B6.

Spinach, Celery and Parsley Juice


  • ½ green apple
  • 2 handfuls of spinach
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 handful of parsley
  • 3 carrots


First juice the 2 carrots, then, the parsley, spinach, the celery, and the last but not the least 2 carrots.

Note: The sodium, potassium, and other minerals will help you lower your blood pressure and will also help you manage your blood glucose naturally.

Health Tip: Try a vegetable that acts as a natural diuretic, i.e. cucumber, asparagus, lemon juice, parsley, instead of taking a drug such as a diuretic (i.e. water pill) to lower your high blood pressure.

Watercress, Tomatoes and Parsley Juice


  • 2 tomatoes
  • 6 sprigs watercress
  • 2 apples
  • 1 handful of parsley


First cut the apples into wedges and remove both the seed and the core.
Place all ingredients into a juicer and juice them well.

Note: This is a great heart healthy juicing recipe effective in helping to prevent strokes and heart disease. It has been found that daily consumption of apple juice or green apples can greatly lower cholesterol levels that are the causes of inflammation and greatly increasing the risk of heart attacks and strokes and plagues the blood artery walls.

If consumed daily tomatoes contain lycopene which can help in reducing LDL or the bad cholesterol by at least 10%. In fact consuming ½ liter of tomato juice daily can help to protect against heart disease. Watercress is packed with antioxidants and beta carotene which are crucial in reducing the risk of cataracts, certain types of cancers and heart disease.

Note: If you consume homemade juices regularly, make sure that you are not replacing your “super” healthy meals such as whole raw vegetables, green leafy salads with juices, steamed vegetables. Juices should not be used as a replacement, but primarily as a complement to your meal. (Anyway, you can use a green smoothie as a replacement meal because it contains everything that’s in the meal including proteins,carbs, fiber, fats and water).
