In the water put sugar and place it over medium heat to boil. Add in the onions, turmeric and minced ginger. Reduce heat and stir, when the mixture begins to boil. Let the liquid reduce by ½. Allow it to cool, when the cooking is done and then strain. Store in the refrigerator and consume 2 tablespoons in the morning on an empty stomach and 2 in the evening before eating dinner.
