One such remedy is the 2-ingredient recipe we recommend here. The basic ingredient is thyme, which is easily available at any healthy food store or local pharmacy. Thyme is in fact a medicinal plant frequently used in lab studies and is part of many medicines.

THYME TEA RECIPE

Not many people know that thyme is rich in potassium, iron and calcium, important minerals that regulate blood pressure and stimulate the formation of red blood cells. High blood count, on the other hand, is extremely beneficial for treatment of diseases such as bronchitis, asthma, sore throat or laryngitis.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 bunch of thyme – dry or fresh
  • 1 cup of water

PREPARATION METHOD:

As you basically use only one ingredient, you can but assume that the preparation method couldn’t be simpler. Start by washing the thyme well. Then bring the water to a boil and remove from heat. Add the thyme and let it sit until the water becomes well-infused. When it cools off, strain and drink.

For best results, take this drink twice a day – during breakfast and before bedtime.

If you find the taste a bit too bitter for you, add some honey to sweeten it. Drink this regularly and you’ll soon feel much better as you’ll health will improve on many levels.
