How can you make the best medicine that is proven to remove acne and is much better than expensive creams and lotions from the drugstore and pharmacy? Therefore forget the creams and other expensive medicines! Scientists say that they have found the best cure for pimples, acne…
And it is quite natural, right from your garden, free of charge.
New study from Leeds Metropolitan University suggests that the plant thyme acts better than the best skin cosmetic treatment for acne.
Scientists tested how thyme, marigold and myrrh act on Propionibacterium acnes. The bacteria cause inflammation of pores and acne. Although the marigold and myrrh destroy bacteria after only five minutes, thyme is the most effective. The study confirms that Thyme has stronger antibacterial effects than benzoyl peroxide an integral part of cosmetics against acne.
In order to obtain a maximum effect, thyme should be placed in alcohol for several days or even weeks.
This process extracts the best ingredients from the plant and therefore experts advise that it is highly recommendable to apply just this solution on the acne.
– Although further research are still required, since the solution based on thyme would be mostly beneficial for people with sensitive skin. Side effects of using products based on benzoyl peroxide are skin irritations – claims the lead researcher Dr. Margarita Gomez-Escalada

Tea made from thyme
Many confirm that consuming thyme tea also helps perfectly.
Experts say that the thyme tea should never be cooked in an open container, because this plant contains evaporative healthy ingredients that by cooking in an open container vanish.
To prepare good tea a tablespoon of thyme is required, which is covered with 10 dcl of boiling water, then cover and after half an hour strain, sweeten it with honey and drink it three to four times a day.
The famous academic Jovan Tucakov in the book “The treatments with plants” notes that the rules of harvesting, drying and storage should be followed.
He points out that the thyme should be picked in the midday, when there is no dew, and the weather is nice.
It shouldn’t be pulled off but should be cut off with a knife or scissors, and precisely the upper part of the plant.
It shouldn’t be smashed in the bags, but should be carefully placed in a baskets.
Dried plants are best kept in a stronger paper package.
