Stop Applying This On Your Facial Skin Immediately!

February 8, 2019 by Valerie Kirwin

The Internet is flooded with various types of drugs and preparations, including tips for skin care and revitalization. While some of these suggestions may seem like a good idea, they may cause more damage rather than good effect.
There are many useful ways to keep your skin clean and healthy, and these are just some of the things you should not apply on the skin.

Stop Applying This On Your Facial Skin Immediately!
Hair spray
You may have encountered some preparations for skin care products that include hairspray. Most often these are preparations for drying acne, but it could lead to clogged pores and skin irritation.
Body Lotion
Body Lotion is for body only – designed just for the body areas. Unlike the facial skin, the body skin is thicker and more resistant. Body lotions usually contain more scent and fewer ingredients that are moisturizing. Although not all lotions are harmful for your face, it is better to don’t apply them on the face.

Toothpaste
Using toothpaste against acne is an old remedy. Although toothpaste can dry acne, it will also irritate your skin, and can cause serious problems, such as chemical burns or scars.
Vaseline
Petroleum jelly is often used to moisturize the dry or cracked skin; however this is not the appropriate solution for your face. When you first apply Vaseline on your face, you might feel that it helps to moisturize and soften the skin, but it starts to cause certain irregularities.
Sugar
It is not uncommon to find peelings that contain sugar. This is another bad idea, as it actually does more harm than good. As mentioned, your facial skin is more sensitive than the body skin. Sugar may be suitable for foot peeling but certainly can damage the skin on your face – it’s just too rough.
Baking soda
Baking soda has a rough texture and consistency that can lead some people to use it as a scrub. Avoid this at all costs! Maintaining the natural pH balance is an essential part of keeping the skin healthy.
