Turmeric is the first compound that contains active ingredients with over 150 therapeutic properties. According to the Journal of the American Chemical Society, turmeric provides a wide range of antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, anticarcinogenic, antimutagenic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also loaded with many healthy nutrients such as protein, dietary fiber, niacin, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Vitamin K, potassium, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium and zinc. Due to all these factors, turmeric is often used to treat a wide variety of health problems.

Honey, on the other hand, has high levels of monosaccharides, fructose and glucose, containing about 70-80% sugar, which gives it its sweet taste – minerals and water make up the rest of its composition.

Honey also possesses antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

Honey and turmeric make a powerful combination, which will improve your digestion and increase the number of beneficial gut bacteria.

Ingredients:

– 100g organic honey

– 1 tbsp. turmeric powder

Mix the ingredients together until well blended. Then store the mixture in a glass jar.

How to use this natural antibiotic?

As soon as you notice that you’re coming down with a cold or flu, take the remedy in the following way:

Day 1 – take half a teaspoon every hour.

Day 2 – take half a teaspoon every two hours.

Day 3 – take half a teaspoon 3 times a day.

It is recommended to let the remedy melt down in your mouth instead of swallowing it.

If you don’t like the taste, you can always add it to a cup of warm milk or tea.
