If toe change its shape, can result in Crohn’s disease or heart and lungs disease, and if your feet swell repeatedly, you may have a problem with the kidneys.

These Changes On Your Feet Might Point Out to a Serious Disease

1. Cold feet

Chronically cold feet can occur as a result of poor circulation in the extremities because of reduced blood flow in them. This problem further leads to the occurrence of high blood pressure, impaired function of the thyroid gland, heart disease. Smoking can be a cause of cold feet because reduces the lungs ability to absorb oxygen.

Therefore, to those who have a problem with cold feet, it is advisable to visit a doctor to exclude the possibility of a severe disease.

2. Itching

It is commonly associated with athlete’s foot, a fungal infection, an all-day wearing closed shoes and increased sweating.

In addition, itching can be caused by an allergic reaction or psoriasis.

3. Stains

Dark spots on the feet can be caused by Raynaud’s disease that causes convulsions, decreased blood flow and reddish skin color, and are triggered by stress and cold.

In rare cases, Raynaud’s disease may be an early sign of rheumatoid arthritis or lupus.

4. Change in the shape of the toes

If nails become rounded and toes change their shape, it is best to check the health of your lungs and heart. Such sudden changes indicate reduced oxygen flow in the blood, and besides breathing and heart problems, can be symptoms of the Crohn’s disease.

5. Swollen feet

This is a temporary condition that occurs after a long walking, standing or wearing unsuitable footwear. But if your feet swell repeatedly, it may be caused by kidneys or heart malfunction, as well as a reaction from diabetes and high blood pressure drugs.

Also, swollen legs can be caused by rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis. If the swelling does not disappear, it is best to visit a doctor.

6. Burning feet

Burning sensation in your feet often occurs in diabetics, peripheral nerve impairment, and can be caused by cardiovascular disorders of peripheral arterial disease.

The sensation of burning feet can also be caused by fatigue or athlete’s foot.

7. Toe pain

Toe pain may be a symptom of gout (form of arthritis), and in this state is caused by too high level of uric acid. Rheumatic arthritis is another disease that causes severe pain in the toe, so if the pain does not stop, you should visit a doctor.

8. Yellow nails

Yeast infections are not only responsible for itching, but often make the nails yellow and the nails become thick as well.

Thick, yellow nails can indicate a medical problem with the lymph glands or rheumatoid arthritis.
