This is How You Can Use Turmeric Every Day to Boost Your Health!

According to a legend, when Jesus was born he was visited by a wise man from the east who gave him frankincense, myrrh and gold.

A lot of people believe that the gold is actually the common used spice with a golden color-turmeric.

This is How You Can Use Turmeric Every Day to Boost Your Health!

Turmeric is not only mentioned in the Bible, the Ayurvedic medicine has used it for centuries and some even claim that it is used in the Chinese medicine for more than 2000 years.

Turmeric is not only tasty but it is also an effective blood cleanser. That is why doctors gave turmeric to the kings when the kings were poisoned. They believed that the turmeric will clean the king’s body from the poison. Even though turmeric was used all over the world for centuries the Western medicine accepted it recently.

In America turmeric is used for the past 30 years and people are still not using this incredible spice as much as they should.

Here are seven different ideas how to use turmeric every day!

#1 Turmeric Juice Shot

Ingredients

  • ½ inch turmeric root or 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • ½ lemon
  • sea salt

Instructions

Just juice the lemon and turmeric and add a pinch of sea salt and drink! If you don’t have a juicer you can use fresh squeezed lemon juice and turmeric powder.

#2 Turmeric Tea

Chop up some turmeric and add it in your tea maker or follow the recipe below.

Ingredients

  • ½ tsp. fresh grated turmeric
  • raw honey to taste
  • squeeze of lime (makes turmeric more bioavailable)
  • dash of black pepper
  • 1 cup hot water

Instructions

Boil the water, add turmeric and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and strain. Add the other ingredients. Enjoy!

#3 Turmeric Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups veggie or organic bone broth
  • 1 knuckle grated/chopped turmeric

Instructions

Simmer the soup with turmeric for 15 minutes, strain chunks out, add some black pepper (boosts bioavailability) and enjoy because it is really tasty.

#4 Turmeric Scramble

 Ingredients

Simply sprinkle some turmeric on your eggs in the morning!

#5 Golden Milk

If you don’t have much time, you can simply mix some warm coconut milk with 1 tsp. of turmeric powder. For better taste try the recipe below.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut or almond milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder/fresh grated
  • ¼ tsp ginger powder/fresh grated
  • ¼ tsp vanilla
  • dash of cardamom
  • dash of cinnamon
  • dash of clove
  • 2 tsp raw honey

Instructions

Boil all ingredients in pot for 1 min

#6 Turmeric Smoothie

Add it into any of your favorite smoothies or try the recipe below!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups frozen pineapple or mango
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • ½ coconut or almond milk
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder/fresh turmeric
  • 1 tsp hemp seed hearts
  • 1 tsp maca root
  • dash of black pepper

Instructions

Blend all the ingredients well. Enjoy!

#7 Turmeric Kefir

 Ingredients

This tastes incredible. Simply add a tsp. of turmeric powder to kefir and drink!
