You Are Not Fat! Your Stomach Is Bloated And Here Is How To Get Rid Of It!

Bloated stomach is a fairly common problem that many people experience after a heavy meal. It’s a very uncomfortable feeling when your stomach protrudes out, you feel the gasses building up and it’s as if you’re going to explode. This happens to almost everyone from time to time, but there are some people who feel like this all the time which is not a good sign. There could be a number of reasons why this happens but here are the most common culprits for your bloated stomach:You-Are-Not-Fat-Your-Stomach-Is-Bloated-And-Here-Is-How-To-Get-Rid-Of-It

    • Not drinking enough water – it’s not uncommon for digestive problems to arise if you’re not drinking enough water every day. The recommended water intake is 6-8 glasses of water but we tend to overlook this recommendation because we drink plenty of coffee, juices and sodas and believe this is enough. The truth is that nothing can replace water and your body needs plenty of it so that it can function normally. When you don’t get the sufficient amount of water your organism starts using the liquids it can find and bloating can occur due to water retention. If your stomach is bloated all the time you need to start drinking more water.
    • Constipation – If you frequently experience constipation you need to start consuming more fibers and start eating healthier. Fibers will ease the constipation and eliminate bloating because the two are connected. When you’re constipated gasses get trapped behind the feces and you get bloated. You need to start introducing smaller amounts of fibers to your diet and gradually increase their amount, to avoid making the situation worse. Eliminate white bread and substitute it with whole grains, drink fruit and vegetable smoothies and eat berries.
    • Stress – According to recent studies stress can contribute to bloating. This is probably because when the system is stressed, the brain prevents the digestive system from functioning properly. You need to relax more and relieve the stress if you want to resolve the bloating problem.
    • Eating too fast – The proper way to eat is with small bites, slowly and making sure you chew your food properly. Eating too fast with big bites can lead to constipation.
    • Carbs – Diet based on carbs can lead to bloating so you need to watch your carb intake. Eating low carb diet can be the solution for your problem and you can also try substituting sugar and alcohol with vegetables and fruits.
